
Esteban José Jean-Pierre Ocon-Khelfane (17 September 1996 - Present): French racing driver born in Évreux, Normandy, with paternal Spanish heritage from Málaga and maternal Algerian roots. Currently competes in Formula 1 for Haas (2025 onwards), previously driving for Manor (2016), Force India (2017-2018), and Renault/Alpine (2020-2024). Won the 2014 FIA European Formula 3 Championship, defeating Max Verstappen, and the 2015 GP3 Series title. Secured first F1 victory at the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix, becoming the first French GP winner since Olivier Panis in 1996.
Achieved first podium at the 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix (second place) and another second-place finish at the 2024 Brazilian Grand Prix. Spent 2019 as Mercedes reserve driver after losing his seat. Signed to Gravity Sports management at age 14, backed by Renault's young driver program. Known for aggressive racecraft and memorable battles, particularly with teammate Fernando Alonso and former teammate Sergio Pérez.
