Kevin Magnussen

Kevin Jan Magnussen (5 October 1992 - Present): Danish racing driver born in Roskilde, son of former F1 driver Jan Magnussen. Competed in Formula 1 from 2014 to 2024, driving for McLaren (2014-2015), Renault (2016), and Haas (2017-2020, 2022-2024). Made sensational F1 debut finishing second at the 2014 Australian Grand Prix, the best debutant result in 18 years and first Danish podium. Won the 2008 Danish Formula Ford championship with eleven victories from fifteen races.

Achieved his and Haas' first pole position at the 2022 São Paulo Grand Prix, becoming just the second driver to set pole for a non-Ferrari team using a Ferrari engine. Best season was 2018, scoring 56 points and finishing ninth in the championship, helping Haas to their best-ever fifth place in the constructors' standings. Known for aggressive defensive driving style. Took sabbatical in 2021. Returned to sportscar racing in 2025 as BMW factory driver.
