
Jack Aitken (23 September 1995 - Present): British-Korean racing driver with a Scottish father and South Korean mother who started karting at Buckmore Park Kart Circuit in Kent at age seven. He competed in the 2010 Super 1 National Kart Championships finishing third behind champion George Russell. Aitken progressed to single-seaters in 2012, winning the 2015 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 title which led to joining the Renault Young Driver Academy.
He placed fifth in his first GP3 year with Arden but moved to ART in 2017, finishing second to Russell despite mechanical problems after achieving six podiums including one win. He progressed to Formula 2 in 2018 before making his Formula One debut as a race driver with Williams at the 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix, replacing George Russell who was promoted to Mercedes following Lewis Hamilton's positive coronavirus test. He qualified 18th and finished 16th after spinning at the final corner on lap 61 of 87, breaking his front wing. At the start of 2023 he left Williams to focus on his sportscar career full-time, racing in IMSA in 2025.
