Biography

Brendon Hartley (born November 10, 1989): A New Zealand racing driver, Hartley has competed in various forms of motorsport with particular success in endurance racing. He participated in 25 Formula One Grands Prix for Scuderia Toro Rosso between 2017 and 2018, scoring a best finish of fourth place at the 2018 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Before and after his F1 stint, Hartley achieved remarkable success in the World Endurance Championship, winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans twice (2017, 2020) and becoming FIA World Endurance Champion in 2015 and co-champion in 2017. Driving for Porsche's factory prototype team, he proved himself one of the world's elite endurance racers.

After departing Formula One, Hartley returned to endurance racing and has also competed in Formula E. His versatility across different racing disciplines showcases his exceptional driving talent, even if his brief F1 career didn't fully demonstrate his capabilities.
