
Timothy Theodore Schenken (26 September 1943 - Present): Australian racing driver born in Sydney who competed in Formula One from 1970 to 1974. Schenken moved to England in 1965 to pursue racing, winning both the Guards Formula Ford 1600 and Lombank Formula 3 titles in 1968 with an impressive 42 British Formula Ford race wins that year. He made his F1 debut with Frank Williams' De Tomaso at the 1970 Austrian Grand Prix, then joined Brabham alongside Graham Hill for 1971, achieving his career-best result with a podium at the 1971 Austrian Grand Prix. He later drove for Surtees in 1972, with his F1 career ending in 1974 with Trojan and a one-off appearance for Lotus at Watkins Glen.
Across 36 World Championship starts, he scored 7 championship points and one podium. After retiring from racing, Schenken became Director of Race Operations for Motorsport Australia and was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in 2016. He remains active in motorsport administration today.
