Cadillac F1 Team
Cadillac F1 Team marks General Motors' historic entry into Formula One as the sport's 11th team in 2026. Representing iconic American luxury brand Cadillac and backed by General Motors' engineering resources, the team brings American manufacturer presence to F1 for the first time since the 1960s. The team is based at a new state-of-the-art facility in Silverstone, UK, the heart of F1's engineering hub. For their debut season, Cadillac has assembled an experienced driver lineup featuring former Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas and former Red Bull driver Sergio Pérez - two proven race winners with over 400 Grand Prix starts between them.
As an American team entering during F1's surge in US popularity, Cadillac represents the convergence of American motorsport ambition and Formula One's global expansion. The team will initially use Ferrari power units while developing their own GM-built engines for future seasons.
