Dorino Serafini (July 22, 1909 - July 5, 2000): An Italian motorcycle racer and racing driver from Pesaro, Serafini achieved success in both two-wheeled and four-wheeled motorsport. He participated in one Formula One World Championship Grand Prix, the 1950 Italian Grand Prix at Monza, where he shared a Ferrari with Alberto Ascari and finished second. Before transitioning to cars, Serafini was a successful motorcycle racer during the 1930s and 1940s. His move to automobile racing came relatively late in his career, but he quickly demonstrated his ability by securing a drive with Ferrari.
Though his Formula One career was limited to that single shared race, his podium finish showed his talent. Serafini's versatility across motorcycles and cars exemplified the well-rounded racers of his generation.
