Clemente Biondetti (October 18, 1898 - February 24, 1955): An Italian racing driver renowned for his success in endurance and road racing, particularly the Mille Miglia. He participated in one Formula One World Championship Grand Prix, the 1950 Italian Grand Prix at Monza. Biondetti won the legendary Mille Miglia a record four times (1938, 1947, 1948, 1949), cementing his status as one of Italy's greatest road racers. His ability to navigate the challenging 1,000-mile open road course through Italy at high speeds was unmatched during the late 1940s.
Though he was in his 50s by the time Formula One began and never achieved success in Grand Prix racing, his mastery of endurance racing and technical courses made him a legend in Italian motorsport. Biondetti's career spanned from the 1920s through the early 1950s.
