Bob Said

Bob Said (May 5, 1932 - March 24, 2002): An American racing driver, Said competed in various motorsport disciplines including Formula One, NASCAR, and sports car racing. He participated in two Formula One World Championship Grands Prix, making his debut at the 1959 United States Grand Prix at Sebring. Said was particularly successful in sports car racing, competing at Le Mans and in SCCA events throughout the 1960s and 1970s. He was known for his smooth driving style and excellent car control, which served him well in endurance racing.

Beyond driving, Said was involved in motorsport journalism and team management, contributing to American racing in multiple capacities. His versatility across different racing disciplines exemplified the well-rounded racers of his generation who competed wherever opportunities arose.
